Does John Terry 'do' apologies to England team-mates?

Tackling is part and parcel of the game, and I would expect no less than fierce competitiveness from two England players when facing each other on the domestic front. However, that was a dangerous tackle and totally unnecessary.

He should apologise, just don't hold your breath.

Maybe Terry personally wants to go to Milner's home and apologise face to face. And check out Milner's girlfriend as well. Or his sister. You never know right...

Maybe and this is a hard Maybe if Milner would be badly injured and out for like a whole season from a truly malicious challange then YES. This is football not cricket and your gonna get hurt !!

To the answer above mine, considering cricket players have to face a hard leather ball at paces of up to a 100 mph I wouldn't really say they're danger free.

Alas I agree with your sentiments, it was a hard challenge, that's all. No need for an apology.

According to reports I have read he did try to see how Milner was after the game only to find him already gone and has reportedly been in touch via text to make sure he was ok. The tackle was no worse than hundreds of others over the course of the season and it is only because it was John Terry that made it that such drama has been created. The tackle was not a red card offense so why the furore surrounding it?!?! Christ what next? football becoming a non contact sport?!?!
